I am seeking employment as a Software Engineer or GUI specialist.

I was Principal Software Engineer and GUI Architect at Silicon Spice, which was later acquired by Broadcom Corporation. I worked on phone book applications and GUI front ends for complex debuggers and simulators. Before that, I did similar kinds of applications at Landis & Gyr, which was later acquired by Siemens. I am the designer of this web site.

At UC Santa Cruz and San Jose State University, I studied artificial intelligence, computer graphics, and human factors. I was doing research in Information Visualization which combines all three areas.

Mixed-Up Squares

Mixed-Up Squares is my web project. It is one of the world's largest square and round dancing web sites. It houses hundreds of round dance cue sheets, hundreds of square dance definitions, and dozens of programs to deliver the information. It has a master index to 7000 dance cue sheets found on web sites all over the world. It is designed to give the highest performance possible and to work well even over a slow connection.
